I’ve been working hard in the evenings on all the artwork for this years Front Room Art Trail in Totterdown, Bristol. I think this year is one of the biggest years with over 170 people exhibiting. I’ll post some of the work I’m exhibiting soon.

I’ve been learning how to model in CG lately. I used the 2D Mr Bagpipes image as a guide. I can see how people get in to this, it’s very satisfying when it’s finally rendered. Now I’ve got to work out how to make him move next.

Here’s a design a did for a recent animation pitch. I’m really pleased with how this turned out. I think he would look lovely animated.

I did these character designs for a pitch at Aardman. The weather is surely the nations favorite topic so I decided to put a positive spin on the subject with these friendly mascots. I can just imagine these giant costume characters coming to life.

Pretty unrelated to Christmas but hey it’s got two robins on it!

Here’s the original character design I did for BP which I was really pleased with. The character used in the finished ads were quite different. Check them out in the Animation section of this site.

I did this design for our friend’s wedding invite which took place in Hong Kong.
