Last year I worked on these graphic sequences for Wallace & Gromit’s World of Invention.

These short animations were to demonstrate various inventions and how things work. These were mostly animated in After Effects with a little bit of Flash thrown in where it was needed. It was a challenge to simplify the animations down so that they were understandable whilst they keeping them scientifically correct.

For all you science nuts Wallace & Gromit’s World of Invention is now available on DVD & Blu-ray.

I was recently approached by WARL to directed this lovely ad for Clipper Tea. I really liked the rebranding for Clipper so it was great have the opportunity to bring the designs life.

I recently directed this BBC One ident which was used to promote BBC One’s Spring 2010 Saturday night schedule and featured Total Wipeout, Dr Who and Over the Rainbow. I directed and produced all of the layouts and designs with help from illustrator Stanley Chow. I think he did a great job getting the likeness of Matt Smith as the new Doctor, Richard Hammond, Graham Norton and Charlotte Church.

In 2007 I was asked by producer, Clive Juster, to make a new mini-episode of Mr Benn based on one of David McKee’s original comic strip artworks from the 70s. It was such a privilege to be able to use David’s illustrations and try and re-create the feel of the original shows. I was really pleased with the end result and so was David.

This is one of 3 Zelda animations I directed at Aardman for Nintendo US, to promote a new DSi game, ‘The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks’. These animations were made entirely on a Nintendo DSi using Flipnote Studio software. Thanks to Tom Evans and Joe Wood who did such a good job animating these.

I was asked to make 12 films for the run-up to Christmas on the new Flipnote Studio software for the Nintendo DSi, on their Hatena website. It was a pretty full-on experience as I was doing all the animation, voices and sound effects on the Nintendo DSi. They’ve been really well received getting over 2 million hits and counting.

This is one of 5 animated commercials I directed for the Catalonian government. The aim of the commercials was to promote the idea that little actions can make a big difference, this particular one is about saving water. I had such a good team on this project it was a pleasure to make these.
